Pedal recomendations
I'm looking for a versatile pedal for my trek 1600SLR. Right now I have some generic flat pedals with straps from another bike. Is there a decent pedal that can be used with regular shoes but also has a decent clip for cycling shoes in (near) the future? Also would be interested in a low profile flat pedal with straps.

I know some pedals have a flat side and a clip in side. Some pedals also have a flat platform that can you can clip into the pedals if you don't have bike shoes.
I use some look style pedals from Nashbar. They have a small platform so whenever I bike without bike shoes I can just flip them and use them as platforms.

Shimano A-530 pedals are two sided - thinking about picking them up for my fast commuter.

I have Power Grips on my commuter and I love them. Very easy to use, works with any shoe, and gives you basically the same power transfer that a cheap pedal/shoe combo would give you.
