Giro on TV
Not on Bein this year, but on Fubo. Check-out deal at Steephill.tv. A month of Fubo plus the Giro Live and DVR for $14.
Limited time.

It is a 7-day free trial. In the US, after 7 days it is $34.95 for the base package and $8.99 for the cycling package to be added, bringing the total cost per month to be $43.94. You can record up to 3 days in advance but you cannot view past stages unlike the NBC Sports Gold app. This is far more expensive than the NBC app which is a great deal at $20 for the whole season and you can view live and past events on-demand.

Yeah.... it was a limited time deal through Stack Social..... Seems to be something like Living Social 0r Jump On It. Its gone now. But I did get a month of Fubo for $5 and the Cycling package for $8.95.

I managed to get in on the $5 base deal (save ~ $30) via the Steephill announcement, + $9 for the cycling package. Kind of pricey without that deal.
Fubo streams nicely but the DVR, besides being limited (3 entries only), has been acting up on replay. In the first 3 stages, it wouldn't go anywhere near the end and I had to watch the end via the Steephill / Eurosport last x km link.
I hope they (or me?) manage to find their @$$ with both hands soon. Anyone else having this issue?

I also knew that NBC is in bed with ASO but not RCS, so it wasn't going to happen.

I went to sigh up on NBC Sports Network. I'm not interested in having to go through a secure password for that.
I'll keep my $20.

Fubo continues to be a bit FUBAR, though I seem to be the only whiner here.
Live streaming is via browser is decent.
DVR replay, besides being limited -- 3 items max in play (recorded or scheduled), expire in a few days -- is clunky on replay. Seems to be getting a bit better, but many of the recorded stages crapped out with 30 - 40 - 50 k to go and I had to watch the conclusion on Eurosports.
Roku app (OK, they say it is a Beta) does not give you access to DVR and drops occasionally (5 to 10 min) when watching live streaming, returns you to the channel entry screen where you have to press OK to watch. Keep your remote handy.
I'm warming to Kirby and Lloyd.

So ... i signed up for the free trial, and boy am I glad it's free. I get the same ten-second bit of today's stage over and over, then it freezes, I refresh .... Meanwhile I can watch a free stream from Spain and it is flawless.
Hey Fubo ... if you are as not as good as the pirates, you ain't getting any money no matter what programming you promise. No delivery = no payment.
How hard is it to stream, anyway? it seems everyone with a smartphone can do it flawlessly, while this supposedly serious business .... can't?
Back to watching in Spanish and reading text updates.

Yup ... Fubo is Fubar. I can watch a pirated Spanish stream which is Flawless---same quality, no breaks, stutters, interruptions, no buffering ... while on the other PC I am reloading Fubo every 15 seconds on the final climb of an amazing stage----which I would Really like to be watching with English commentary.
Also, none of my DVR'd material plays in full ... again, the ends are missing ... I can watch the first six-and-a-half hours of a seven hour race.
Major Fail, Fubo ... I will be spending my cash on NBCSN Gold instead. Thanks for playing, exit stage right.

My wife and I have been watching each stage on YouTube on our television each evening. Sometimes it's Eurosport in English and other times it's a Spanish or French language recording but with the exceptions of some buffering quirks and the like we usually get a good 20 to 40k's per stage. Not bad considering we thought we'd see nothing.
It was great to see Tejay out in the break a couple times and get his first GT stage win.
Pinot's doing very well which we're also enjoying.
