If the bike fits, ride it.

I wish I could find the article. If I can, I'll post a link.

EDIT: Are Women's Body Proportions Different From Men's? -
I thought it was the other way around. Women have broader hips and a lower center of gravity. Many women have longer legs and a shorter torso than men of the same height. But this will vary in individuals, and in various ethnic groups.

I buy women-specific frames because of limits to my range of motion in hips and back: I can't swing my leg over a bike to get on and off of it, so I need a step-through. Step-through frames may also be a good feature for people planning to load a lot of gear on a rear rack, or if they've got a kid's seat back there. Some builders, such as WorkCycles, seem to default to step-through frames, probably for this reason.

The OP is not referring to a step through frame.

Was idly looking at gravel bikes. Raleigh Willard 3 and Amelia 3 are reasonably identical. Amelia is $300 less. Willard is slate blue with orange trim. Amelia is black with pistachio trim. Amelia goes two sizes smaller and Willard goes two sizes larger

Is this women-specific enough? Because it was sold as a women's frame.

It's seems that I need to be more specific. The OP was referring to "some women specific mountain bikes."

Women specific mountain bikes are not step-through frames. The "women-specific" bit refers to components and changes to the frames geometry.

Your bike is not a women-specific mountain bike, hence it is not germane to the OP's inquiry.
