Greeting from Central PA

Hello everyone,

Im hoping to use our car less and go by bike more. My husband and I mostly ride local rail trails. The drivers in our area are not paying attention to the roadways and it's too dangerous. Preparing for our first go at an overnight. Doing the GAP trail mid September. Very excited!

Welcome. I live around the Hershey Pa area and got a new bike and been just starting to hit some local Rails To Trails places. Been riding the one along the Susquehanna River. I start from the Columbia are and ride up past Marietta area. Really nice one. I'm planning to ride one in Jim Thorpe in September as I will take a shuttle bus once I get there and you can do 15 miles, 25 and 36 miles off the shuttle or you can just start from the parking area and ride the trail and come come back when you went as far as you would like to go. Lots of nice trails around the Hershey, York, Lancaster and Lebanon areas.
