Minimalist electric solution for my two folding bikes

This is my Dahon Mu Uno install of the 1Motor (Shareroller) electric drive. Total weight including battery is 4.5 lbs. Max speed 28mph. I won't have it installed on my
Bike Friday pakiT until next week and will wait to review it (specifically for each bike) until then. But I thought I'd share a quick pic early on.

This is not a pakit, it's a dahon mu uno with a pakit sticker on it.

ALet us know what you find out. Did you lose your water bottle braze ons when you did this?

The battery is mounted with a Topeak water bottle cage QR mount. I've not hit it once getting on or off, but them I'm used to avoiding a water bottle there so it's basically the same.
Worst case if you did kick it is you would bust the $7 topeak part, no big deal. However, one could mount the battery elsewhere even if there are no other built in holes - two fish and some other vendors make velcro strap mounted water bottle brackets and it fits them. You could also put it in a bag if you prefer. I personally don't have any problems with it there.
Yes, that was the water bottle mount, but now I carry my water in my sling bag on my back or in my Revelate feed bag. I prefer to stop and drink rather than drink while moving and my water stays way colder, too, I'm no racer lol. It's easy enough to add water bottle mounts elsewhere, though, using a two fish block.
The system also has a handlebar controller with joystick for throttle as well as a PAS crank mount.
It takes 10 seconds to remove it (it connects together to carry) when I lock up the bike somewhere, and it actually fits inside my Patagonia Atom sling bag quite easily.
