Day 2!
Had rotator cuff surgery yesterday. Services included a repaired tear (not clear whether it was SLAP or anterior inferior labrum but whatever it was, now it ain’t), drained bursa and trimmed bone spur, probably achromial. I spent about 16 months trying to manage with PT and non-surgical, non-steroidal approaches to no avail. Fortunately it had no effect on riding and I had a great season. My expectation is that I’ll be ready to ride when the northeast US winter ends. For now, rest, ice, Percocet....exercises start Monday.
