T of C = U.S. Postal? Disco class reunion

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's good to see so many US riders at the top of the GC.

Well...it was a US event, and many many of the top international riders didn't show up because it was so early and an inaugural event.

But, yes. It was good to see it.

I see your point, but the top ten DOES represent some of the top talent in the world, regardless of whether Jan, Ivan, or Boonen showed up.

Landis, Julich, Evans, Leipheimer have all finished in the top ten of the TdF at some point or another. Lots of big wins among them.
