Dura Ace Track High Flange Hubs?

I'm in Japan right now and have the opportunity of purchasing Dura Ace Track High Flange hubs. If you didn't know, they still make them, and sell them in Japan.

And yeah, I don't have to pay the $300 a pair like they are selling on ebay.

However, they are 32 hole, not 36 hole that are NJS approved.

Your thoughts?

buy that shiat! they are great hubs and you
won't get them for such a good price anywhere
else. also, they should be available in 36h...
where are you getting them from?

edit: and unless you ride on some terrible streets
or are really heavy, you won't need the 36h...

I think that we have briefly met. You are a mechanic there, right? Athens is my home town and last I was in I stopped at Cycle Path. The mechanic mentioned he had an IRO. Seemed long odds two people in Athens riding an IRO.

That's less than wholesale, dooder. Since you're a mechanic, you should appreciate the ultimate smoothness..

I have the 32 hole hubs on two of my bikes - I play a game with the front wheels. When I get to work I take the elevator up to the 7th floor, which usually means I have to put my bike up on its back wheel to make room for the other people going up. I spin the front wheel very lightly and see if it will keep spinning all the way to my floor. It always makes it, even when a few people stop to get off on the way up.

spinspinspin. great hubs, buy them.

I got 32 holes hubs. Just get them. NJS or not, 32,36 or 28 holes it doesn't make a different.

Just like my Campy 28,32, and 36 in Nuevo Rec, Super Rec and C record.I got because I like them and quality was there , period. Have fun in Japan.

Sashae, It time to go back..

I have always waffled between HF and LF for Dura-Ace, so go with what you think is prettiest. Also, get the 32 or you can make the mistake like my friend did of getting 36h NJS hubs and trying to put them on rims that come in 32h max.

For that price, this shouldn't even be a question. If I were you I'd be taking orders...provding yourself with a profit margin of course.

sorry guys and girls,
The shop only has one pair and I won't be there long enough to order them in.

I'll ask the shop if I can order a bunch and then ship them to the US.
