Sadly frame and some parts are not mine...
My friend has 13 track bikes, and he built me a bike to try.
Also today was my first seeing my friend, because he lives in Korea
and finally I am in Korea

BTW roller that you are seeing is for professional keirin racers in Korea.
Nice bike and roller, didn't even knew Korea also had pro keirin racing, is it similar to Japanese keirin or more like International keirin ?

it's same as Japanese keirin.
They even use same parts, however they have limited frame choice.
Corex and Interpro are the only options for korean keirin racers.

Finally got this thing onto the track, so I can officially post it here. Did the beginner's class at Encino velodrome today, had a blast and can't wait to go back for more.

The latest track bike: No. 22 Little Wing. I selected bronze anodized graphics to give it a just tiny bit of color. It has a Chris King headset, Sugino SG75 DD crankset w/ Dura Ace rings, Dura Ace pedals, Shimano PRO carbon track bars and stem, Selle Italia Flite Team saddle, Dura Ace cog, and Izumi Super Toughness chain. In this picture it has my heavy duty racing wheels built with Velocity Pro Elite tubular rims, 14g spokes, Dura Ace hubs and Vittoria Corsa SL slick road tubulars.

For comparison, I weighed each of my track bikes (without wheels, but with a chain keeper):

55cm Pinarello XTrack 10.2lbs
58cm No. 22 Little Wing 10.4lbs
58cm Argon18 Electron Pro 11.1lbs
58cm Schwinn Paramount 12.9lbs

Hahaha. At least you are riding.

My bike is in my garage. I feel a tiny twinge of guilt every time I drive in and get out of my car and look at it as it hangs in pieces on hooks.

Just had this built up, it's a Planet X TOR, Sugino chainset, Zipp bars. Race wheels are a Corima disc and an imported Chinese 5 spoke. Feels pretty fast, probably faster than I am!

Hey, are prototypes allowed around here?

These are two of the first three frames Colby Pearce and I have had fabricated - they differ only in geometry. 44mm HT, Dedacciai OS pretty much everything else. And yes, they feature that controversial dropout. They'll be in the white until we start playing with finishes. Aspects will undoubtedly change as we get further in R&D....

Colby and I are testing the frames and various forks round robin, raced them last night (check out his rear Io). We're running the SRMs on them to get a more quantitative perspective as well. And that PC8 mount @Dalai turned me onto works perfectly with a Thomson X4 and Scattos.

Looks awesome! I'd love to hear about the discussion around some of the choices, like the 44mm head tube. That's like old-school BT aggressive.

We're testing mass start designs at the moment and for this purpose and material, the 44mm HT is a pretty straightforward choice in my mind, given the tradeoffs. It has a greater frontal area and mass, sure, but there are things going for it. First, and probably least obvious: it provides more area for our fabricator to use in attaching the TT and DT. It also gives us a lot of flexibility with respect to fork steerers, should the end user want to change down the line. Finally, it's going to be stiffer.

We'll write up more about the thinking as to our prototypes and what we've learned.... I can tell you that so far, I've been surprised by what I've experienced riding them. Colby is blinded to what frame geometry he is riding/racing at any time, but he is taking notes, so his reactions should be be even more fun

I like the blind testing aspect of the geometry. Should be interesting to see if you guys come across any new findings. I thought it would be fun to build some bikes/forks in different geos and ride down some mountain roads with them.

I think Carleton interpreted it as 44mm in HT length, which would be craaaaaaaaaazy.

I did.

To what does "44mm HT" refer?

I was using it as shorthand to refer to a standard that combines low profile / semi-integrated headsets with 1 1/8" fork steerers. 44mm is the inner diameter of the head tube (HT) where the headset cups sit. You can also, with certain headsets, use a tapered steerer fork with this head tube size, but there are additional considerations going that route.

It was so much simpler back in the days when the hardest part was picking what color you wanted your Chris King anodized....

@Koogar, I'm still up in the air on a frame for next year and I was already a fan of how Colby Pearce approached fitting so naturally i am very interested in your collaboration. I have some questions, and an idea, if you don't mind.

What is your schedule for production? Will the chainstay have clearance for modern large or extra large dinner plates? Are you using off the shelf 7005 or drawing your own? Have you considered using a 31.6mm seatpost to follow in line with your headtube idea or moving to an "aero" fairing design? More area for welding and possibly a stiffer rear triangle. This with really nice track ends (e.g. yours), the 44mm headtube, and an oversized downtube sounds pretty much like my dream bike.
