I'm guessing this is a UO18 from the early 70s. Seems to be all original and in very nice shape. Just a few scrapes on the right seat stay. Any info appreciated.

That's in beautiful shape! The graphics suggest early 1970s to me. The hubs may have a date stamped in them. The handlebar may as well, under the wrapping.
This is my 1970 model. I'm calling it a 1970 because the handlebar had "12 69" stamped on it and I think I found a correlating date code somewhere else on it as well. Notice the downtube graphics and how they use the "arrowhead" end style, with a longer gold line sandwiched between two white lines. Yours has the "slash" end style, where all lines appear cut-off at an angle. I think these graphics started in the early 1970s.

The Rigida rims show a 1975 date stamp.
I have already upgraded it with 700c rims. A few other mods and it should be a super rider.

Wow! That is in gorgeous condition. Can't say the same for my 1970 UO-8 and (now my son's) 1980 PKN-10, but they have been well-used and have serve well over the years.

A little update. My wife claimed this one, so I upgraded with alloy 700c rims, new tires, new saddle, alloy bars and stem, new cables and a rear rack, Might need to replace the Simplex derailleurs, but right now they function perfectly.
