What wheel QRs are those? They look like red levers(i can sorta see the front one), are they internal cam?
They're the paul skewers in the limited release Rasta (red, gold, green) color: https://www.paulcomp.com/shop/compon...lease-skewers/

Mondonicos can get "gaudy" all on their own. Very nice de-toning, if that's a word. Makes you want to get a closer look....

I'm a horrible photographer but this is a 1986 Centurian Ironman Dave Scott that has been repainted and converted to ten speed Ultegra. An extremely sweet riding frame.

Great build, and I agree, sweet riding frame.

1985 Colnago Super. 9sp DA, Rolf Vector Pro's with Hugii hubs. The black portions of the frame are crosshatched like CF, hence the CF cage and crankset.

Loving the Cinelli Alter silver stem. Is this with a 1” threadless fork or with a Quill adapter? Also, I can’t tell if you have one of the pin up girls on your Alter or not.

I also like like the Campy wheels and notice you are running Hutchinson tubeless tires. What has your experience been with the tubeless BTW.

Lastly I’m just curious about the toe clips and straps - you aren’t a fan of clipless?

BTW: Love your Cinelli. Great color and great chrome lugs. I love the Cinelli seatstay/saddle clamp detail.

That is the outstandingest bike I've seen in quite a while. And I look at lots of bikes.

I just checked in and looked at the whole page. Unbelievable, how outstanding they all are. The black and shiny ones are so wicked/mean looking. The balance between the black/chrome/gold/greys/colors is perfect harmony on all of them. The Cinelli, classy is the word that came to mind. The IM, wow. That vision and the finished product. Those decals are awesome. Great jobs, all.

cheers! Custom painted with vinyls off ebay. The frame was in very poor condition when i got it, and it wasnt the more 'desirable' of original paint schemes, so it wasnt a hard decision to paint it. Plus i like black

I've perused this thread for years now, and I always dreamed of building a bike that was fitting for it. So being that this was the thread that helped me come up with the ideas for this bike and helped me build this Pogliaghi, I thought I would show off the finished product here. I want to thank everyone for posting their beautifully updated vintage bikes, so many of which inspired this build.

It's a real mix of old and new. I've only had it out for a short ride because of the weather, and I need to do some final fitting, but it feels great so far, quick and nimble.

@Giacomo 1, that looks like a load and a half full of fun. I hope the weather offers an opportunity to ride it soon. It looks small for you. It's not?

Me to! Warm enough today, but the monsoon rains make that meaningless.

Good looking out, this the smallest bike I own, but it felt pretty comfortable on my short ride. I have to do some more riding to get the fitting perfected. Anyway, I'm beginning to shrink now so I am preparing for the future. Ill let you know if it doesn't work out though and you can make me an offer.

For when you just happen to have a freakin' Colnago frame sitting around. Your bike collection is getting pretty epic, just from the limited number I've seen you post.

Looks great! I fear I would snap those spokes on my first ride, however. Is that 14 spokes per wheel?

Front is 14. Rear is 16.
Maybe they overbuilt the rear.

Guilt-free, in advance..... but I do think I saw USAZorro hit one, and it scampered off, too.

I keep coming back here to look at that matte black Klein.
