What's a fair price for this? 2007 Langster, shined and ready to ride!
I was going to post this in the market section, but it appears I do not have privileges.
FYI, this is not a for sale thread. No funny stuff. I'm considering an upgrade and am not interested in wasting time bartering with people, so I'm looking for some 3rd party input on what I've got to see if I can afford the upgrade.
2007 Specialized Langster
Original Carbon Fork
Original aluminum bars
Longer stem, shorter original included
700c wheels
Gator front, Thick Slick Back treads
Izumi gold/black 1/8 single speed chain
48 front crank
17 rear
16 flip-flop fixed rear (dura ace)
New internal bottom bracket bearing
Replaced cranks (170 mm)
Debating whether or not to include:
Front break
Ynot foot straps
Rear wheel guard... since I'll just have to replace them.
Lights and helmet not included.
The bike is used but with minimal nicks and dings. The fork is perfect. It is in ready to ride condition.
Your thoughts?

Perhaps $100.00 to the right buyer.
Just my complete uninformed opinion mind you.

Yes, that seat post business is way wrong. I'd be worried about damage to the seat tube, etc. $100 +/-.

Brutal honesty, thanks all, it's probably what I needed to hear.
Cheers.

My '09 langster is worthless to anyone but me and worthless to me as a rideable bike my new one is worth a lot more but that is because I put way too much in parts on it because the my old one broke and they replaced it and I wanted to build something with really top notch parts so I said "why not Zoidberg".

Depends, Denver or Portland on Craigslist, $175-250.
Grand Junction or Albuquerque, $100 at best.
It really depends on the city and the type of riders living there.

I do live in a bike city, some maybe I could shoot for $200... but the parts alone make it pointless. It'll cost more to replace, wheels, treads, etc.
Interesting comments about the seat post. As far as I am aware, it's the factory post and still has about 3 more notches before the "minimum insert" marker. I think the geometry leads to a lowere top tub at the seat tube compared to a more square Felt TK3. The frame does fit small, but it works. I had to get a longer stem too. I'm definitely riding the seat as high as possible. This is one of the few bikes I've messed around with almost all the components to find a good fit.
