So one of my cycling friends (actually the one who spewed gunk from his tubeless on NYD) said he has been having knee pain lately and was wondering if he should move his shoe cleat forwards or backwards to fix the problem.
Should I tell him to post that query in the 41?

I'd go General. More diversity of opinion there: At least three planes of cleat movement, plus "I used cleats and I fell down," "you're an elitist pig-dog for riding in anything but Florsheims," and "drink more water."

He could spice up the situation by saying the guy rides an e-bike and likes to pull away from the group on the climbs.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
Well I signed up for a gravel ride at the end of the month. Should be a short 34 or so mile route. I will be lucky to finish in less than 2.5 hours.

A couple weeks ago I was watching a lecture by Dr. Gallagher. He (implicitly) poked fun at how soft people are today by contrasting how students now carry big water bottles just to walk across campus, whereas back in the Civil War soldiers might march (with full gear) 10 or 20 miles without water.
I shook my head and thought about cyclists in this forum.

More than last year. I have taken to 1st. Class to avoid having to sit amonsgt the unwashed masses with their bags of Mcdonald's. I have to check a abg with gear. It's free in first class. $35 in coach. When you back out the $70 round trip baggage fee the 1st Class fares I have been seeing are only a couple of hundred dollars more than Economy Plus, which I need for the extra leg room. One year I snagged a 1st Class fare that was only about $150 more when the baggage fee was backed out. Something like $990 vs. $840 is a no-brainer.
Going to check again next week before I pull the trigger.

I have no interest in flying from Philly.
I don't have an interest in flying from Knoxville, either, but was curious of the price.
