Back in 1997, three friends and I did our first multi-day, self supported (credit card style) tour. We had a journal up on one of the guy's personal Verizon web sites for a few years but then Verizon took them all down. He found the flies recently and I put it back on on Cycleblaze here.

I still have that Trek 520, rode it as my main bike until 2017 and touring bike until this year when I went for a Jamis Renegade and the 520 became my indoor Zwift bike.

Flashback Friday with Wally the Walleye. The end of CANDISC (N. Dakota) in 2006. Throw back Time pedals and Carnac shoes. Buffalo brats for lunch.

If you are like me, when you can't see your own reflection, your mind's image of what you look like is that picture you posted. Then, someone takes a picture of you now and posts it online and you think "Who the hell is that??"
