Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That's great. Crawl spaces in my area sometimes have a mold problem.

Excellent! Hope the rest of the process goes as smoothly.

Best crawlspace, though... Kind of like nicest portable restroom.

Thanks everyone! We just got news that he is at least Covid negative and so get to move out of the isolation area. That still leaves "just" the pneumonia in both lungs, but at least now we're not worried he somehow caught it and then passed the Covid on to my elderly grandmother he lives with.

To his residence, at least.

Not sure if any of us really come home after something like that.

That's better news. Hopefully he gets well soon.

WhyFi My buddy tested my basement bathroom tap and as expected, it tested 411 ppm or very hard. The hot tap in the same sink was less than 25 ppm or pretty soft. Obviously, my contractor hooked in to my outside faucet line which doesn't pass through the water softener. No problem, but it explains a lot.

We checked Costco Kirkland water which I'm now using and it tested below 25 ppm, too.

Do the same rules apply to cycle cross as usa cycling as far as gaining experience before you can move up a tier?

What also occurs to me is that it's good we went home and saw everyone over the holidays. I hadn't wanted to, and wanted to push it to Easter-ish. AG pushed for getting it in a few months earlier, and wow am I glad she did.

It's good to get to the bottom of the issue, though.

Whereas down here in Texas, the digital highway signs urge us to call 911 if we see a child (or pet) left in a car.

The mileage talk earlier inspired me to go looking up what I've done this year; I'm at just over 1640 real miles. With my previous best being just over 2000, I should comfortably exceed that, even accounting for less mileage as I gets darker.

Yeah but if you're going to drive out to nowhere for a ride like that there aren't going to be many cars on the roads anyway.

The location of that picture is 45 miles from home but near an interstate and 300,000 people. The pic I put up last time with the big cactus is in the hills just north of West LA. This is car central, there are literally millions of cars in Southern California.
There are 1.5 million people in the valley I live in and there are trails on the hills all around the valley. Not as many as there should be, but some.
