Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

GoPro mount for aero seat post.

I’ve searched and searched and can’t seem to find a good GoPro mount for an aero seat post. Surely I can’t be the only guy who wants a rear facing camera for his race bike. Suggestions?

You want to face your camera backwards but you can't because of your post. Why wouldn't you do it with a saddle rail mount?

I suspect a saddle bag is in the way. But still, saddle rail mount is still the way to go. Kick that saddle bag out and put the tools elsewhere. I suspect accessories for aero seat posts are rare because these type of seat posts come in all non-round shapes and sizes that it's not feasible to make a one-size-fits-all, especially for a relatively heavy accessory like a GoPro.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have a rail mount. I would prefer a seat post mount.

Um, okay. If you already have the most obvious solution in-hand, maybe it would make sense to mention that, and why it's not a desirable solution, instead of playing coy for some odd reason.

In any event, do a search for a strut mount (for airplanes). It'll be spendy, but if you're going to be this picky...
