nice dude u got good trails in texas and i can t find one good trail here in washington dc northerin virginia

Newbie - i live in rockville, right outside DC - there are some good trails you just have to know the area - check out Avalon, schaeffer, and SINGLETRACKS.com

Singletracks.com really shows off the regions good trails.

Check out this site. Lots of local trails in the DC area. You will not find them here.

^I rode Dwelling on the 4th. It was the first trail I ever rode a few years back, but it was a lot more fun my second time around with the additions they've made in the last few years. When I get comfortable enough on my motorcycle to put my mountain bike on it, I'll be heading up there fairly frequently.

I can point you toward our infamous "long descent". I don't quite have the stamina in my arms to pound it out these days. (It's a good 9sec at least)
