Ive read the whole thread, but I’m not in the hunt...yet. I think I need a few more posts to until I can attach a pic. Is it ten?

Boston Stack Connection
I've been indisposed of late and can't get to the fire. And it may be a while for me to get there by bike...
The first thing that went into my head on the smokestack mission was this, which is way out of my riding range:
Abandoned stack at the old Cities Service refinery site in Okmulgee, OK.
There is a tenuous Boston connection here. The "tri-foil" symbol in the stack was the Cities Service company logo until the mid-1960's, when they changed the marketing name to Citgo.
Marketing logo prior to 1965.
The Boston connection? The Citgo sign at Fenway Park, which has a much richer history than the refinery in Okmulgee. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Citgo_sign
mr_bill, I liked the pictures of the pump station. I have a weakness for old, heavy duty process equipment. Some of that stuff can run forever if maintained.
Next mission: Something on fire.

LOL, my girlfriend said the exact same thing as I was leaving the house after she saw the mission on day 1. Luckily there is a spot only 10 or so miles away that was just roasted so no felonious activity required!
Mission: Something on fire or something that was recently on fire.

This probably won't count unless the Mr. Bill clause kicks in. I was out running errands in the velo yesterday, and just happened to notice this as I was heading to the post office.

Exactly my point. I would need a mtn bike, and a lot more skill than I have now, to ride to a waterfall.
I'm not even sure mtn bikes are allowed on the trails to the local waterfalls (there are a couple of them around here in the mountains).

I guess I'll have to sit this one out. Not many waterfalls around here, most are small and less than spectacular during summer, and the closest few are at least 50 km away anyway. We do, however, have the widest waterfall in Europe at 250 meters, but that's 300 km round trip for me

This is from a week or so ago, but there are numerous waterfalls along the route - you can see two in the background.
I understand that old pictures do not count, but if this one from within the last few days does, then I'd like to see a picture of your bike with a storm/dark rain clouds in the background.

I made a similar mission a few months back and got an excellent picture in response. A classic line squall bearing down on a rider in Riverside. Those riding in Southern California (inland) or Arizona should be able to come up with something. Monsoon season in the desert. Good luck.
