I got lucky from my local postal service the last couple of days. I received some unobtainium from Europe: six Campy brake adjustment barrels. And a complete drive set of Campy shifters and derailleurs. And a set of brake blocks for my brake set. It looks like I am close to starting the build on the latest Paramount find. Smiles, MH
I got this hub but the parts are a bit suspect. The axle nuts look like they are Normandy but I have replacement Campy axles and small parts.
Adjuster barrels, and drive train parts.

This steering stem, sent to me out of the goodness of two fellow BF members hearts, went around the world, rather than just cross over the US/Canada border, to reach me. The full and interesting tale is here. Anyway, a very rare and decent component perfectly suited for my 1958 Rabeneick 120d...
The cloth bar tape, that I ordered for the same project, showed up today, also...
Not sure what to do with those stupid bar end caps (pitch probably), or the funny stickers. And I cannot help but wonder what riding a fixed gear with high heels is like..?

No one was bidding for a while...getting kinda rare as it’s use is...one of those auction where the price goes through the roof and my ceiling at the same time! BIN’d it!

Got this for cheap...I think...
It fits...winter project is to find the foam that you pull apart to fit your items...maybe at a camera shop...great to bring a whole shop out and back to the outside benches...
The new tool can live with the pumps, too..

If we are showing off big tools, how about the tool I received today for a Sturmey Archer RX-RD5 today. I built it into a wheel for the Gazelle Grand Tourist but I wanted to open up the hub to lubricate things a bit.
Up you see the classic HTR145 ball ring spanner like the one used on a Sturmey Archer AW hub. Down the one used for these modern hubs, the HTR148.
15mm wrench and M4 Hex key for comparison.
Oh and the Phil Tenacious oil was from Dutch Santa a few weeks ago. Apparently he was told "only gear freaks ask for this stuff".

Gave myself a birthday gift of future wheel builds. I found some 650b Zac19’s for less than half of what I normally see, and I had a good experience building these before, so I snagged them.

Today started with a package delivered shortly after 8am. I was feeling all Campy with this crank arm to remove from it's spindle.
Then just after 10am I started feeling kind of "Crappy" when the exalted "Box 'O Crap" was delivered. It looks like I will spend the next few days sorting through the 35 pounds of "Crap" searching for a gem in the midst of it. Smiles, MH

Got some Performance branded sanshin 36h hubs. My daughter prefers to ride a Giant Cabriolet from the mid-80s but it comes with junky parts. Have an older set of sun rims in 540iso coming to match and pink spokes ordered as well. The original 547iso rims are harder to find tires for and the stock steel hubs don't want to stay adjusted so a better aluminum cartridge bearing hub is an improvement as will be the aluminum rim. Don't know it'll save weight but should spin better and stop better.

Great for the older bicycles that I deal in...I’ve used it a number of times to fix damage from mom using your bike to see where the end of the garage is!
Seat stay gets a nice bend in it!
Nice steady, controlled pull or push back to original shape...

Maybe...I got a better deal right after I didn’t win that one...

I have been eyeing the Restrap rando bag for a while since it is a perfect fit for the Pelago Commuter front rack I have on the Koga-Miyata SilverAce. Turns out it was on sale on Amazon so I sprung on it right away.
It attaches to the rack using magnetic Fidlock fittings but the Pelago rack fittings are still on its way but... Brexit and shipping.
The plan is to also use it on other bikes but while there is a universal magnetic fitting included I will probably add a pair of Grand Bois Velo de Reve EB clips to be able to use it on a Velo Orange Randonneur front rack I have on several other bikes.
The zippers will probably be replaced with something that matches the rest of the bike a bit better.
Packed flat with nylon inserts that slide right in to make it very stiff

These came in the mail today. Clean set of record shifters for the Basso. The current ones are a bit dull.
LMAO I was excited to install them but they both ended up being drive side levers and stops. Luckily seller offered full refund but I didn't accept. Only want half back.
