Addiction 2021.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

She was gracious and let me off the hook. Therapeutic drinks will be consumed starting about 6:00.

Me too, thanks. Most of all I don't want her to become afraid of her bike.

She said she was doing a slow u-turn in loose gravel, didn't have enough forward movement and lost balance. When she put her foot down, it slid out from under her, and down she went.

Awww, sweet and I do hope her arm is okay.

I am researching dinner right now and have a bottle of decent Sauvignon Blanc chilling. Glad I'm a keeper.

Wonder if VV is watching the game. Tenn is down by 20 to the 12 seed.

This sounds like an excellent plan. Hope Mrs. Mojo is unbroken.

Ultimately, she'll be okay. She's laughing about it, so that's good. Best of all, she said it won't sour her on biking, and she recognizes it was just a fluke.

I am trying to get daughter #2 to ride her BSO with me. We just got back from a 4 minute ride and she is totally spent.

Tenn is out. VV is likely in a foul mood. First time Oregon State won a tournament game in 39 years.

Dang! Sorry to hear that. I hope it’s not a fracture, and yes, you’re probably at fault.

He would be at least 1 speed older, it seems. I really wish he was still around to talk bikes with.

So, having ordered a crapload of tools this morning, I had some spare time this afternoon, so I dropped by REI to try and find enough degreaser to clean all the components, and damned if they didn't have every single thing I ordered. I coulda been taking off pedals and cranks and bottom brackets by now!
