@sheddle

And I need one like I need another hole in my head, not that, that ever stops me.

My chances of getting Ms. merziac on one are probably as slim as finding one that fits right.

NOS ~ MERLIN RSR TITANIUM 24 SPEED ~ 58 CM ~ NEVER USED! - $2,000 (Kingston, Mass)

MERLIN RSR ... 58 CM (center to top)
built in Cambridge, Mass.

1996 NOS (Yes, never used) Titanium road bike.... still has cardboard chain stay protector on from factory. Seat cover just taken off for pictures.

24 speed (3 up front/8 in the rear)... Shimano components, Mavic rims , Cinelli, Zoom, Rolls Saddle.

No pedals ever installed so no pedals come with the bike. I'll look for the computer if there's interest in the bike.

$2000

I only respond to actual phone calls due to the tremendous amount of spam generated by Craigslist ads.

Can you fix a bent derailleur hanger??

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bop...300402998.html

Bianchi Brava 56 cm AS IS For Parts - $99 (emeryville)

Owned and used this bike for about 11 years on and off. As far as I know it is early 90s or late 80s Bianchi Made In Italy. The Frame is light weight. Took a tumble a year ago and bent the derailleur hanger a bit so I am selling this bike for parts or repair. Text or email. Thanks.

Presumably, under all that rubble is a Scattante Five Sixty. Wheels are Easton and unsure if this is actual C&V territory, plus unsure if seller means there is damage to an aluminum frame.

Scattante Five Sixty frame and parts - $100 (Cary)

Hello,
I have a bike frame and 2 rims for sale. It is a Scattante Five Sixty. My son had it and was in a wreck on campus. He was going to fix it, but moved and it has been here for a year, so time to go. There is 2 rims and a new front fork he said is the correct one for the bike. There is not any pedals. What you see is what you get. First one to contact me gets it.
Thanks, Best

Schwinn Voyageur - $125 (Mchenry)

Schwinn Voyageur Bike size 58 or 60cm depending on which measuring method you use. It could use some touch up paint but don’t let that fool you, as this bicycle has been completely rebuilt down to the ball bearings. Tires like new.

Thanks you,
John

Selling my childhood dream bike, single owner. Took care of this bike through out the years. It is fully tuned and ready to go with the original seat included. I am 6'5" so I extended the handlebars a bit but realized I am better off getting a new bike.

This is still up on CL. As merziac has pointed out, it's a Japanese-contracted Raleigh Competition from the mid-80s. Here's a bit of data on it, from back in the day:

Long cage GT in rear. The mechs and pedals alone, after cleaning, would nearly fetch the ask price. The Specialissima up there. I've always wanted one of the later pearl white ones in my size for more casual rides, if they ride half as good as they looked in the later years, it'd be a regular rider for me.

Nice enough little bike and they were all recalled but who knows how many might have escaped. I was repping for the company while the recall was going on and found a really nice 59cm (the largest) Galaxie in the pile of recalled bikes accumulating in the New Jersey warehouse. It's the same frame with first-gen 105 components. They allowed me to take it on the condition that I never ride the thing.

And it was not a French group, but an assemblage of Euro components; Huret derailleurs and shifters, Weinmann brakes and levers, Solida(?) crank, etc.

I have read personal comments by people who had their (or personally knew of a) Lambert fail or had a Pivo stem go (or again were personally aware of one failing) but no one seems to have a personal history with one of these Peugeots failing though members have mentioned destroying these. In short, I'd have to try it, even just once.

As for that Super Strada I'm stunned by what sells sometimes vsvwhat doesn't.

I think the recall only took place in the U.S., the land of fervent litigation. I would not be surprised to see them abroad.
