FS: 1967 Schwinn Panther ($600 plus shipping)
BIKE HAS BEEN SOLD.
PRICE REDUCTION: Still $600 for local pick-up, but will now ship free to continental US address.
Born February 1967 in Chicago, IL, USA
Dual racks, horn, single-speed, Bendix coaster brake.
All parts are original except tires (new Schwinn Westwind tires; 26" x 1 3/4"), new rear reflector, and new chain.
Includes 1967 Schwinn Owners Manual (Middleweight Bicycles) and original headlight with rust (non-working).
Black frame and cream/chrome "Slimline" tank finish are in G/VG condition.
Minor scrapes (mostly on tank, some on frame) judged to be from normal use and age
Fender chrome is bright, shiny, and smooth with a few small dents that are barely noticeable.
Surface rust is present on inside of fenders with no structural damage detected.
There has been no apparent attempt to touch-up the original finish except for seat springs (Rustoleum rust neutralizer applied)
Headset, wheel hubs (including rear coaster brake mechanism), bottom bracket, and pedal bearings inspected, re-lubed, reassembled, and adjusted.
Wheels were trued.
Tank interior inspected and cleaned; horn functions normally.
Shipping to US addresses via ShipBikes or BikeFlights from Henderson, NV.
Local pick-up is available.
