This is Blue Car Body Rd. I've always wanted to ride it just because of the name. It turned out to be real pretty.

Mmm sounds good, did they come with gravy?

I just looked up this trail. Man, that is a nice resource.

Have you ridden all or most of it?

I've only ridden the west side portion, shuttling cars is a bit of logistical issue, and I've done double century days before but not on gravel.

White kit on gravel is gutsy. Houndstooth is on point. Kudos to her.

Love Brown Mountain Beach Rd. Took our engagement pictures at the mill there. Beautiful place. Decent trout fishing also.

Crispy chicken with pico and guacamole is pretty good. 750 calories for just the sandwich! VIP bicycle parking.

My first venture out on my new Gravel Bike. Still running 30c Specialized Roubaix Pro tires and switched them out for 37c Riddlers right when I got home. The Roubaix just didn't handle the soft sand sections that I encountered.
Ready to give the same route a try with the wider Riddlers. This Diverge Sport was upgraded to Ultegra FD/RD shifters and disc calipers. Running 48/32 with 11-34 cassette. Love the gearing on both the road and on gravel thus far.

Spring comes late here

Pictures from today's ride: Brookvale, Prince Edward island. Roads in pretty good shape despite rain last night.....but no leaves on the trees yet. Beautiful tree canopy over this stretch of road in the summer. Roads are mostly clay and sand, not much actual gravel.
