Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

that website looks pretty sketchy. I suspect they are selling counterfeit gear.

I'm not going to speculate on whether or not their gear is genuine, but I do think it's cute that they think it's notable that their sales and service team has a cumulative 25 years in the bike industry under their belts.

The Aspires are pretty thin. Great sock, though. I have ran distance events up to marathon distance in these. They will not bunch up and I've never had a blister. They seem to have these micro nubs on the sole that grip your feet and feel great. I also have a pair of 12" that I use as a recovery sock after a long/tough event.

I also have a thick pair which I got on clearance at the LBS. Not sure what model but they are very thick, definitely a winter sock, probably closer to the Pursuit. I use these in the winter with my more sneaker-like touring shoes on my fixed-gear bike. Very warm but then again, I live in Georgia so it doesn't get down into the single digits.

So yeah, I rediscovered these socks and today bought the Performance One and Performance two, one pair each. The blue socks are the Aspire Four.I have a few kits that match the color. Giving them a try in the hopes they are not too thin.

Wish I could help more. I'm sure the Pursuit won't let you down.

This deal makes me suspect they are selling counterfeit eyewear.

Just purchased one in Drive Blue. If it's anything like my other Castelli long sleeve jerseys, it will be great.

It's not counterfeit if it's not claiming to be something else.

A new KMC chain and an HG50 7 speed cassette for the old Schwinn. 13-30t to replace a worn out 13-26t. Today, I could finally make it up a few short steep sections without struggling for once.

No idea how it's a hot deal when it's counterfeit.

You must have never bought a pair of sunglasses from the gas station before. I see this no different than purchasing a pair of generic "Wayfarers" at a truck stop... live and let live, but also let cheap be cheap.
