Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh, yeah, there should be. Anything over $800 USD is subject. I think that some things still sneak through, but a box big enough for a bike might raise some flags.

Indeed, I made the mistake of clicking on that No. 22 link posted up yesterday. For about 2 minutes a shopping cart with an $8,000+ bike in it. And I am neither an old man nor a dentist.

And even though they call it “endurance” geometry, stack and reach are within mms of my old S1.

Same. I have the old part down, but pulling the trigger on 8K worth of bike, is not an easy thing to do.

You've probably seen the Cervelo closeout deals at Excel. There's usually some wiggle room there too. I'd buy one of those before ti.

What's the skinny on HRV? I downloaded an app, paired with my HRM, did a few readings and got some figures (44bpm, 65hrv). Now what?

I'm having second thoughts about buying a carbon bike after clicking on the 2008 Specialize thread. I learned that carbon is not recommended because it breaks after being hit by several busses.
