Entry Level Mountain Bike
Hello All!
I am new to this forum, so please forgive me and feel free to redirect if I am posting this in the wrong place. I am just starting to get in to mountain biking. Nothing crazy, but I live in New England and want to be on trails in the woods. I am looking for a used bike for my sister to join me. She doesn't want to spend a lot of money. It doesn't have to be fancy, but reliable for a newbie and preferably something that can be upgraded. It's slim pickings where we are right now due to Covid-19. I am looking at a Raleigh M60 for $225 that looks to be recently tuned up and a Specialized Jynx for $175. The Raleigh says theit was recently rebuilt and tuned up and has new gears/shifters, brakes, tires, and rapid fire shifting. I tried to include photos, but it says I need 10 posts first. Do you think one of these would meet our needs?
Thanks!

For just about any amount of money you can find a bike so "entry level" really just means how much are you willing to spend?
The Jynx line looks like it's about 15 years newer, hard to argue with that as long as it fits
