Look 585
Howdy,
Wondering thoughts on the value of this 2013 Look 585? It’s upgraded Shimano Ultegra 2 10 speed Groupset, Mavic Aksium wheels. Seller is asking 1500 CAD or 1120USD. Any opinions on the bike - I know little about them. Cheers

The 585 is one of the best made by LOOK. Although the frames retailed as high as $3,000, I paid as little as $1800 for a new, leftover model. The wheels are low level 10 speed is not up to 2013 standards. I was using Campy 11 in 2009. The price depends a lot on condition. I sold two 585 bikes in great shape with higher level Campy chorus 11 and much better wheels for $2500 each, 10 years ago.

$1500 is pandemic pricing. Old components Ultegra 6600 shifters, mismatched crank and derailleur, inexpensive wheelset and who rides with a seat like that? What's going on with the length of that chain, that poor derailleur. At least it has an uncut fork. It's a seven year old bike with old mismatched components, not worth it. I am also leery of buying a used carbon bike where someone appears not to know how to properly fit a bike. Look at the angle of those bars, seems to be rotated forwards, maybe from sliding off the saddle and putting too much weight on the bars.
