Zeus frame pump

Back in the early 80's lived near the U.S. distributor to Zeus products. One day a took a visit. I had some idea of what they had and I was still young and inocent. It was a candy shop. At this time drillium was popular and all of Zeus's top of the line components included a line that were drilled.

I only bought a pump. I had a few Silca's but I was impressed by the Zeus pump. The pump head and the tube were one piece. It felt strong and solid. It had a strong spring to stay put in the frame.

And now I've had it for almost 40 years. I have to admit that it hasn't been in continuous use since then. This is a presta valve pump. At this time, I don't even have any bikes with presta valves.

U.S. distributor in NYC was called Zeus Cyclery Corporation.

Manufacturer of pump is HETA.

Page from Zeus catalogue of 1980:

They also produced frame pumps with the NAGUSI & SARRI names.

yes, HETA products come from Spain.

ROTO is a product line created by Eugenio Rampinelli, the same person behind REG brand accessories and Cobra brand tools.

I know it's not the FS sub-section but I have a "Nagusi SP" branded pump looks just like shown in the ad, This is what I'd call a very light gray sort of metallic body (nearly a "pearl white") with black ends. 22" from end-to-end uncompressed. Presta valve, still pumps air (just checked).PM me if you want this one.

The Zeus pump pictured above in the original post has "Made in Spain" molded in. You might be able to see it in the second picture.
