Robin Williams Bike collection sale

My wife cannot give me a hard time for my few bikes. This man had quite the collection. Fun to browse and see all the cool bicycles he had.

Wow, a Schwinn Krate (Pea Picker) is at $4,400 (maybe worth $600~$800 on a good day) and a Schwinn unicycle is at $1800 (maybe worth $100 on a good day). People really want to own a bike RW owned!

Anyone know which of his road bikes were his favorites?

LOL ... The Flying Pidgeon is $3000.
+ The damn house wants 20% + $350 US shipping.
I wouldn't mind the 3 sp Guv'nor, it's double priced at $3250.

It's a fundraiser auction. That's how it works. It's for people who want to help support the foundations; it's not about bargain shopping.

Thanks, Captain Obvious! Before resting on your massive laurels, perhaps you can go through all the inventory and critique which are modern steel and those that aren't....

Thanks for posting! Fun seeing his collection, and this was a good read also - https://paddle8.com/editorial/cycle-of-life/ - I had no idea about this side of him.

I clicked onto the Cervelo R3SL. The writer describes the bike as a competitive endurance bike. Size 52. He must have been on the short side like 5'-7".

Robin might have chosen that R series for all the climbing in S.F. and Marin County.

Robin bought the Orbea from my friend Chris at Eden Bicycles in Castro Valley. He always drew a big crowd whenever he was at the shop. Nice guy too. Painfully sad now when I think about those wonderful days.
