Painter in Kansas ?
One of us recently posted a thread unboxing his Bianchi that was re-painted by a group in Kansas -- I misplaced the link i had saved to their site and now have a project i am interested in having them do for me
If any of you kind folks remember the thread, or if it is yours could you direct me to the thread or share the web address for these guys? I seem to recall they were doing basic strip and powder coats for around $100 or so, but had paint jobs on their site that went from mild to wild.
I have a polished GT Edge (aluminum) from the early 90's with a dent in the top tube that has been there since the first month i had the bike --- i put a ton of miles on it then without caring but now that i am a bit of a velo snob, i cringe at the sight of it. Its not huge so i wanted it filled and re-painted in a patriotic color scheme . The GT's at that time were also used by the National Team, so a recreation of the team livery would be interesting

If you're asking about powder coat, Groody Brothers is now in Topeka. They don't do paint, just powder coat. Here's a link to the thread I started on powder coaters.
Thanks Gugie ! Those are the guys' i was thinking of ! -- they have several multicolor framesets in their Theme Bikes gallery so it would appear they can handle something a little simpler

It may we'll have been my Bianchi thread you had on mind. Groody Bros powder coated my Giro recently. I was very happy with the results. They also did a Motobecane for me a few years ago with beautiful multicolor results.

If you’re in the KC area they have a drop-off arrangement with Bike America so you don’t even have to drive over to Topeka.

Groody Brothers have done several frames for me, and they've always done an exceptional job. I was sad when Mark moved the operation out of Kansas City to Topeka, but he tells me he's happy with the arrangements.
