Where in hierarchy does the Bridgestone 700 lie?

Hello all just wanted to ask at what level within the brand or within vintage bikes in general does the the Bridgestone 700 come up? Really a beautiful bike. the particular one I'm looking at is red in color. guys got it priced @ 210.00 looks in very nice shape. Im not sure how to go about trans fering an online pic to the forum.

The 700 was top of the US line until they started importing the Gran Velo series. I couldn't afford either one on my bike shop salary. )-;

Precursor to RB1

I recall reading somewhere that Grant Peterson (Bridgestone USA manager) based the venerable RB1 on the earlier 700. So that would speak well for the 700.

If you’re looking to purchase this bike , make sure it fits. It is a tall frame and looks like maybe 25” seat tube so you would need about a 35” inseam to ride it comfortably. The seller has the seat low because it is too tall for them.
