New rider deciding on a ride!
Evening all... I'm a noob and I've narrowed my choices down to a Trek Marlin 5 and a Trek 6000. In my mind I think I know which I'm going with, but would like some opinions from more experienced riders.

Spcialized. Because my local dealer has great selection and service. And that great service includes great fitting. Make sure you are getting that too.

It might be hard to help you make a choice without more info about how & where you plan to ride. What kind of terrain? How aggressive?
