Recumbent Tandem Trike Test Ride
After seeing my Trike my friend Trey wanted one. We went out to Bicycle Man in Alfred NY to shoot some video and ride a few Trikes. It is tradition now to take the Tandem out for a ride. Its really fun
I cant see an easy way to get these around other than riding them. Has anyone else taken one for a ride?

Yep. Did a test ride as the stoker at the Midwest Recumbent Bicycle Rally on a tandem Greenspeed GTO. It's one of the best on the market but the price is $$$$. At that time I was riding a solo GS GTO so I was familiar with the trike. Caught a shoelace in the chainring and realized that the cranks don't stop when you stop pedaling as long as the captain is going full bore. Fortunately he stopped pedaling when I let out a yell. It was fun for a try but I still prefer the solo trike. There's a used one on eBay right now for $6K with local pickup.

I had a friend in St Louis who had one for sale along with a custom trailer. If I had a place to store the combo I might be interested.

Yes. The trike is 11 feet long. The trailer bed is 12' x 5'. There are fittings on it to hold the trailer and two upright bikes. Most of the weight of the loaded trailer is just the trailer, so it fits within the towing weight and tongue weight limits of the van with no problem. The gas mileage goes to hell, though.
I have a web page describing ordering and assembling the trike, adding fittings to the trailer, and a making a chain tensioner for the stoker to captain's chain.
To answer another comment, the trike is kept in the garage and the trailer sits in the yard or driveway. I'm lucky to have enough space!
