Twin Marin Eldgridge Grade Closet Queens

I THINK THIS IS A 1996 MODEL CANNOT FIND ANY LITTERATURE EXCEPT FOR A GENERIC ONE PAGE ADD. ANYONE ELSE HAVE A LINK TO SPEC SHEETS FOR MID 1990'S MARIN?

I answered an add on FBMP about two Marin Mountain Bikes. A Large Eldridge Grade and an Extra Large Eldridge Grade. Both are completely bone stock with the exception of one Ritchey Saddle. Estimated Mileage of <200 mostly bike path. Hairs still on the Tires .

These bikes have bad ass components full Japanese deore lx as well as Japanese manufactured White Triple Crank , are light and have braze-ons for racks and fenders. They would make great bikepacking bikes. They are triple butted and assembled in the USA on Taiwan build tig frame.

I've been wanting a cromo Trek 970 or 990 and to my naked, unexperienced eye these seem next to identical. SO DAMN LIGHT!

Over all rating: Large: 8.5/10

Over all rating: X-Large: 9.5/10

The tires are original and new, but they are not built for what I need here in florida

What are they worth in an ebay setting? Perhaps with no reserve? What about local face to face?

eBay is tricky, especially with an auction. I wouldn't risk it, maybe as buy it now.

In my market, I'd ask $150-$200 each if they are in ride able condition and I don't do a complete overhaul.

IMHO, not worth selling on Ebay. Its a 24 year old rigid frame MTB. And IMHO reserves on Ebay NEVER work. Buyers/bidders hate them. Just set a price that you are willing to accept and let it go. But because of the addded cost of shipping, complete bikes need to be higher end value wise to be worth the trouble.

I have an Eldridge and a Team Issue from 1995 -- they are wonderful bicycles.

The Sugino made White Industries crankset is junk --I tried to like them because they are so pretty but mine squeaked all the time and required continual tightening on both bikes so I finally ditched them in favor of older Shimano cranksets
