482 miles for July

Had the front tire skid out on me on a turn, now sporting some new road rash on right side.... probably done for the month.

Amazingly, the bike took almost no damage, the rear derailleur scuffed up a bit and the pedal too. Wrecked the shirt, helmet, and need a new lens for the sunglasses

Sorry to hear about this, at least you avoided more serious injury, road rash is bad enough, good thing you were wearing your helmet.

My personal record setting mileage month continues and I am up to 344 miles as of this morning. Rainy days, which I will never complain about, held me back from longer rides the last few days but I will hit at least 350 before tomorrow evening.
As an aside current weight is 244, feeling great.

Holy cow. Congrats.

(Also, I get the rainy day thing. Living in the desert and all. However, when we're getting 1-2 cm of rain in 20-45m, it's causing issues as people's front gardens get washed into the streets...)
