"I still need officials! I still have several segments that need coverage. It is easy to be an official and you will be given instructions. Here is what is still open:

Keizer, OR - Yreka, CA approx 5/1/2014 2:00pm - 5/2/2014 2:00pm (at least 1 person)

link doesn't work for those of us who aren't 'friends' with her on FB. ( I am supposing; as it doesn't work for me).

The new one works.

Is Seattle to SD an established UMCA record route? A record sanctioned by another body? I am curious about that.

Yes, it's an established UMCA record route. Seana already holds the record for the 18-49 group at 3:16:05 set in 95 and is now trying to set a new one in the 50+ age group.

With all the sponors she has listed on her website, can't Ms. Hogan hit them up for some support on those two legs of the journey? Especially the Woodland-Castaic section, which runs through a lot of towns in central CA., and near where she lives ('Sierra Nevada foothills' is what her website shows), it shouldn't be hard at all. Frankly, if someone has that many sponsors I'd be resistant to 'volunteering'; if the sponsors aren't willing to back her up on riding from Seattle to San Diego, maybe she shouldn't be done.
