Howdy
I've been cycling off and on for many years. Was all road back when I was a kid but made the jump to MTB in college and didn't get back on road till about 10 years ago when I caught the bug again. I did a 90 mile charity ride on my FS bike and decided it was time to get a road bike again if I was going to be doing distance on pavement.
I rode pretty hard for several years, but then a few close calls and some friends ending up in the hospital from inattentive (or aggressive) drivers cooled me down again.
A buddy recently started riding recently and conned me back onto my bike.
I guess we'll see how long I stay.
Anyway, I thought it polite to say "howdy".
