Dawes Galaxy chainring..

Hi all, my chainring is quite worn....it’s a Stronglight 36/48 tooth..on a 1985/6 Dawes Galaxy’s......I believe it was changed from the original crankset before my ownership..

can someone advise me on either a suitable modern crankset or the correct crankset....assuming they are still available!!

What is the bolt-circle diameter (BCD) on the crank? Or the model number? Some Stronglight cranks used proprietary (122mm) BCD, some used now-deprecated 86mm BCD, others used more standard BCD.

If you don't know the BCD or the model number, a picture of the crank would help to identify it.

The 36T ring rules out a 122mm or bigger BCD. So, it's either 86mm or 50.4. For both chainrings can still be found.
