Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

HOTTEST bike in recent memory... Crumpton frames always look great, and you have a slick build, even the cableing shows attention to detail.

Seems like any bike with Lightweight wheels will get an automatic HOT... IMHO, a hot bike is something with personality and reflective of the owners care and thoughts, not just a pile of $$$.

I don't care about the LWs. It could be ebay Chinese carbon and still be hot.

I put alot of time and thought into both these bikes. I have a set of Boyd 44 that look just as good on either bike. The saddle seat post combo took over 2 months to get. I know what I liked on my SL so it made building the Type 5 easier. The only thing original on SL from when i bought it in 2011 is the frame.

What saddle seat post combo is that anyway? Is it dash or from that Berk guy? If it is Dash, what saddle style is it? Do you like it?

It's from Berk. I really like it if I destroyed I'd buy another. You need to have your saddle dialed in.
Its Fizik antares shape and I had it covered by Recovered saddles. I haven't had any problems since I covered it. I have rode 72 miles in one seating on it with no discomfort. The price is less than buying the oo antares and high end seat post. Super cool guy and very talented.

RD hanger broke off, RD tumbled in the wheel, broke the seat stay and rear rim. This complete bike was used for <$2000 with 6800, the planets aligned, I bought. I am very sad about the CAAD10, but what's done is done.

Good night, sweet prince.
