This smal wheel size can cause a rollover in a pothole at high speed. Can cost your life in heavy traffic.

Stop constantly telling people what's good and bad for them.

Did I break any of the forum rules? Is there a topic about this way of discussing on this forum? Are you a moderator or admin?

It has nothing to do with forum rules, there is no topic discussing this, and I don't need to be a moderator on THIS forum to state that what you do is quite annoying. You constantly advise, NEVER listen to what a person has requested, always JUDGE (which, I, am doing now,...unfortunately), constantly suggest the OPPOSITE of what a person needs and/or REQUIRES, and can be quite repetitive when an OP states that they are not interested in your advice.

The person who posted the small wheeled bike KNOWS EXACTLY what the risks of riding it are,...you're not their father. People don't need constant warnings based on your fears. Plus, that post that you gave your unwarranted advice on,...it's from 2013!!!

PS: I ride this,...isn't it dangerous???

With all respect, maybe you judge me even more, than I judge others. I am OK, that you express your honest feelings. But wouldn't it be a solution, if you would skip my posts?

I usually do skip your posts,...unless you post in a thread I'm posting in. Then hilarity ensues. But, don't worry,...I've added you to my ignore list. It's safer that way.

And like I've stated, do you realize how outdated the post you quoted is? The person hasn't been logged in to the forum in years.

Actually yes.

On mine, the chainring bent just enough that the chain jumped off. And then there was no tension on the pedal. And I flew over the handlebars.

Ah, yes, but I'm adult enough to be responsible for myself. And I'm quite sure you're cognizant enough to be able to make the right decisions for yourself as well.

As for the mechanical issue, I changed the gearing, and it's much easier to pedal. I've had no hardware failures since my modification of 2 Pedalflows. They work fantastic. And I've gone OTB a few times. The advantage of this is the ability to just jump right into a standing position. No boo-boos at all. And quite enjoyable. I still wouldn't recommend anything more than a slight hill though.

It's not uncommon to see slugs where I am, but normally in the winter when it's cool and damp. Then I saw this monster on my ride home a few days ago on a 80F degree day!

Capitol Building-

Took two rides (once Southwest found my suitcase and dropped it at the hotel) in DC. Rode out to Mt. Vernon, which was 38 miles round trip from downtown and took over 2.5 hours to complete after work but completely worth the views, then an easy ride around the mall the morning of my flight.

Check out the Amtrak site--they have taken great steps in the past couple of years to become more bike-friendly, and not just toward folders but also to full-size bikes. Alas, not so much toward the mountain bikers. anything with larger than a 2" tire (26 and up) still generally has to go as baggage.

I've been riding it all over the world for just over 5 years and I'm still here. Turns out God gave us 2 eyes to make sure you do not go over big potholes. Go figures.

Antietam National Battlefield

Took advantage of a travel day to bike the C&O canal from Harpers Ferry to Antietam. The tree to the left of Burnside bridge stood there at the time of the battle.

Another good reason to commute on a folder: when the doors on your train car don't open and you get hauled to the next stop! Luckily, it's only about 5 additional miles, and it's along a paved and fairly scenic path. A couple other people weren't so lucky and had to wait for rides. When I got home, I noticed that my bike (Tern Verge S11i) had turned over 5,000 miles!
