that 'merckx' bike has been for sale here on CL and FB for probably 2 years (maybe longer), no price adjustment, no improvement. you'd think in that amount of time the seller could go to the local bike thift store here, spend <$20 on a seatpost and saddle, and at least make it look more presentable and maybe ridable.

thanks to an old post by CMAW:
The Dangre Brothers were (in)famous for selling bikes and components in blister from supermarkets in the 70ies. It was also them that procured the rights for Eddy Merckx in France for some time and made the lowest, ugliest road bikes-under-a-champion's-name ever sold.
I never knew anybody else had a license to use the Merckx name. Heck, I was surprised to find out there was a license in Japan.
