I'm just not well-versed enough with tubulars to go that route. Thinking I may actually have some tubeless wheels built for it, but not sure yet. Maybe some H Plus Son TB14s laced to some classic Campy hubs.

Here is something I put together. Campagnolo Super Record 11spd. I am going to swap out the wheels for some tubulars though. These wheels (shown) are way too stiff.

Wow, that looks really good. I thought the newer Campy cranks would look too chunky on a skinny frame, but that looks fantastic!

I think I have a good lead on a silver Campy Athena 11 groupset... Any ideas for a wheelset? Off-the-shelf Campy wheelset? Custom build? Thanks!

With 10v Record, but for a Centaur compact crankset

I think the original Record crankset is upthread, now on SJX426 ’s De Rosa. Keeping it in the family.

I have a blue De Rosa and I have 8 speed C Record on it. I put a brown Brooks Swallow saddle and bar tape on it. I bought the bike off Craigslist 6 yrs ago. It’s a 60 cm which is larger than the 58 cm size I prefer but the paint condition and components were in very good conditions.

OK, just got this complete groupset (was essentially brand new and used for a photo shoot) for $700. Looks like I'll need to go with a silver wheelset. Can't seem to find any newish Campy factory groupsets that are silver. Maybe build one up with White Industries hubs (silver or blue?), laced to H Plus Son silver rims? Any other ideas? Thanks, gang!

As you've gone silver groupset I'd keep it all silver with silver hubs and rims for maximum shiny.

What are you frame clearances like? If you can fit 28c tyres or wider I'd go for some of the newer wider rims like the H+Son Archetype's with the logo's acetone'd off on some silver Chorus or Record hubs..

I'm just having some laced to some silver Campag Chorus hubs, 28h front and 32 rear, but other silver hubs like White Industries would be good too.

squirtdad nice, I like how you've allowed for wide tires with that frame, how wide are the tires in that pic, and what's the max width you can fit on the Kirk?

Here some Archetype's on 28h F&R Ambrosio hubs with 28c tires on my Nikor, for a look at Archetype's with skinnier rubber. 28c is the mx width I can fit in the frame. This has been my work bike this year and I've put 1000's miles on these wheels and the rims have held up great.

the kirk has 32mm Rene Herse on it which is the max. (28 with fenders) .

Dave can go bigger with his fillet braised frames is my understanding

Oof! Those look nice! I have some silver archetypes with vintage Dura Ace hubs on my Tommasini... Run them tubeless and they're so darn comfy...

OK, I ordered this online (needed some panto)... Now, the question is do I use a polished silver Campy seatpost I have, or do I go with a black seatpost? God is in the details, right?!

Wheelset update: Just got this wheelset from offerup... https://offerup.com/item/detail/1622295694
I think they'll look good on this bike. It was nice that they already came with an 11-speed Campy freehub. Plus, they have CK hubs! Not too bad for $250 IMO!

Question for the looks department... If I'm going with the black pantographed stem above, should I use a silver vintage Campy seat post or go with black? I was thinking this Simworks seat post would be nice since it's black and has a red heart!

@Caliwild - It is one of the better saddles I have which are mostly Brooks. This one breaks in faster than the Pro and is comfortable.
It looks good on a vintage bike because it goes way back, patented in 1937!
