Anyone taken a chance on these? Will they explode?

Would you want a cheap non-sized random carbon frame from a nobody with blurry photos of a cheap looking frame? I certainly wouldn't. I would probably rather have a Pure Fix and I don't want a Pure Fix for any reason.

Thank you for your input.

So, has anyone seen these in the wild? they are such an outlier. Has carbon cheapened that much, or they just decided to glue some shavings together?

Going off of the abysmal weld quality I have seen on cheap no-name steel and aluminum bikes from Amazon, I would be very reluctant to trust a cheap carbon frame from there, especially one with no reviews. At least with a Huffy or Magna the frame and fork are likely going to stay together, but this is not worth the risk. It is theoretically possible that it is an ok frame, but the results could be disastrous if it does fail.

Also just noticed the page says it is dual suspension and the product weight is 230kg. While I know that must be a typo, I can't help but imagine what it would be like to ride a bicycle that weighs 3 times as much as my body weight.

No worries, happy to help : )

Carbon has not really cheapened that much and you don't want cheap on something like that. Like one of the other posted noted a Huffy might be crap it is less likely to fail at least frame wise. Not to say it cannot happen because 100% it can but I would rather fail on a steel or aluminum frame than a carbon frame, carbon splinters are zero fun.

My dream is titanium. A modified Ren Yarak for pure road usage would be a treat. But I love, love, love titanium.

This frameset is NOT sold or shipped by Amazon, so you have zero protection if there’s a problem. Instead, it is sold by a Chinese lady named Susan and shipped from China with at least a one month transit time. At $300 + shipping, it is not all that cheap, so it looks like a good way to lose money.

Someone get one of those dudes that think a $4000 carbon disc roadie with 105 Di2 is a budget bike to get that frame.
