Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone else think we've crossed a line with the whole Black Friday thing? I think we crossed it years ago and do not participate. Going to do some shopping online, but you won't find me in the stampede.

LBS ended up just dremeling black oval washer that sits behind Yaw FD's mounting bolt. Which allowed room for chain watcher/keeper and it's limit screw.

We're on Mall Blackout until January.

Honestly though, we haven't been to the mall in a couple of years.

You mean Black Thursday? Yeah, the line has been crossed. Unfortunately, I think that enough moo-cow shoppers will still stampede for ****ty plastic, disposable goods and it'll only encourage more retailers to follow suit next year. I hope I'm wrong - I hope that the Thanksgiving openings completely bomb and we never hear of it again - but I don't think that I will be.

If you paint a dozen houses, people don't call you a House Painter forever.

But you smoke just one twinkie, and you're labelled for life.

It's only in America where we spend a day reflecting and being thankful for what we have, to only anticipate the striking of midnight so that we can stampede our fellow man just to hoard even yet more stuff.

No, no - a number of retailers are opening at 8pm on Thanksgiving this year.

God, I hate Black Fridays. Only reason I'm even going to consider going to the mall is to work there, and once my 4AM shift is over, I am gone like the wind.

The only sucking sound I hear are Windows users migrating to the Mac computing platform.

Bosberg paint is hot. But $2k+ for hot paint is ridiculous.

If the idiots @ Saris really think I'm going to strap that cheesyass bike rack to my Lexus, they are incorrect. Back it goes.

Wow, 650b spreading like wildfire, gonna make tire shopping even more difficult. I already say Doh 29 way too much. Luckily I've yet to actually buy the wrong tire.

Surface is good enough for Oprah's fans/gift recipients... not so much for Oprah, not shocking.
