Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Are you doing a hitch rack? Looks like that thing will take a hitch.

Is that a trunk rack? Trunk racks pretty much blow. Get a hitch installed.

I just want a strap mounted trunk rack. I'll find one for the Prius.

The Surface is very high quality hardware. I think Microsoft is coming to the realization that if they want to promote Windows 8, they will have to also come up with spiffy hardware and then retail stores just like Apple does it. I think that could work for them, but they'd have to ramp up hard and fast. They'll never get there with that idiot Ballmer at the helm. I think he spends more time at the helm of his 400'+ yacht.

manufacturers of the surface are not optimistic. It's going to be a disaster.

Are you like some kind of spreadsheet nerd bragging about the size of your model?

Complaining actually.

When I bump up against the limit, simple operations take like 10 times as long as they should.

I have spreadsheets for the geometries of my bikes and lists of parts that are on them. Need to start tracking maintenance intervals on them, but I'm probably not quite THAT organized.

No. My 2010 SRAM Red shifters & RD are paired with 2012 50/34 compact crank & 2012 Yaw FD.
It shifts smooth as butter to big ring. (silent & no roughness felt during chain transition). However,
shift to little ring has a slight crunch feel in shifter lever during it's transition.

Since Yaw FD does not have trim function, there remains (uneeded) trim in 2010 shifter when
going to big ring.

I also run a Dura-Ace 7900 12-27 cass & KMC X10SL chain.

I used to make spreadsheets for weight loss of bikes. I would list every part, and then change them with the advertised weight of new parts to estimate weight loss. Then when the new part would come in, change it to the actual weight. It's a pretty good way to estimate dollar per gram savings.
