Stuck Handle Bar Grip
I have a handle bar grip that is stuck
one of this with a screw. fat bike
i got the screw out and the clamps are free
yet the grip itself is stuck and wont move
tips on getting it off without making a mess?

Compressed air will inflate the grip and blow it off, Doesn't take much pressure either and it works like a charm

A second removal method is to use a bit of solvent under the grip. I do this with golf grips regularly, you use something like a spoke to open the end of the grip and shoot carb cleaner down the inside of the grip. It loosens the grip and allows for easy removal. Smiles, MH

This is one of the very few valid use cases for WD-40 on a bicycle. Works every time.
Wash the grip in warm soapy water and clean the bar with rubbing alcohol before reinstalling. Leave the alcohol on the handlebar... makes it way easier to get the grip on the bar, and it dries quickly, sticking the grip in place.
