Hi from NYC
Hi - finally posting after reading a ton during my bike search this summer. I recently got back into biking after learning how to navigate city riding in France on a very, very old red bike named Louise. Thanks to advice in these forums, I was able to somehow (during pandemic bike buying frenzy) find two beautiful bikes in June - a 1982 maroon and gray Motobecane Grand Touring and a 1981 red Fuji Royale. I've been absolutely loving the Motobecane, and I taught my fiance to ride (!) on the Fuji, which he is loving. I still find biking - both on and off the roads - in NYC to be pretty intimidating because it's so crowded, but I'm hoping that I'll get more confident with practice.
