Long time member finally saying hello - from New York!

I have enjoyed biking and bicycles from decades. Currently, my interests center on British Raleigh/Sturmey Archer bicycles from the 1950s. This is, for me, the best era in British cycles. Currently, I have a Raleigh 1950 Superbe with all original including paint, hubs, saddle, tires, tubes, "3 or 4 speed" shifter, pump, bell, etc. It is a wonderful ride and functions perfectly. I also have a 1951 Sports in near mint condition that includes the "3 or 4 speed" shifter. I have a near mint 1967 Superbe too. Just found a nice Cadillac that appears to be a rebranded Hercules Tourist from 1954. Prior to this, I've enjoyed 1980s classics from Bianchi and Astro Daimler with Campy. Loved those too, but speed is no longer my goal. I enjoy riding 20 or 30 miles on the British bikes and I have time to look around. Keep up the great work. You have a worthwhile site here. Best, Convivialist
