NOS Duegi Mod 101 shoes, size 46

SOLD

Based on the condition of the soles and cleats and the way the leather uppers naturally rest, I am confident that these are NOS. Size 46 — I think this is equivalent to a size 12, but I am happy to take any measurements. $100 shipped to the lower 48.

I had a pair of those back in the day, nice shoes. I would guess a 46 would be more like a big US 11.

Would these been the kind with the wood insert or nylon?

Tempting, but the feet...they may be too big.

I admit that I do not know for sure, but the surface of the insole (in pic #4 of my first post above) feels like wood, and it smells a bit like wood. Here is a close up of the hole that is drilled near the toes, which looks like wood to me.

This link is obviously to a different brand, but it's a guide nevertheless, since the shoes are similarly styled. Again, if anyone wants any measurements (that would not jeopardize the shoes' condition), I would be happy to measure.

Wow. I am tempted by this, if only for nostalgia. Not sure I would ever actually use them. I had a pair of these BITD. They were my first cycling shoes, purchased slightly used from a local racer.

The soles are wooden. That's the Duegi thing, very stiff. Not everyone liked it. The outsole is laminated with leather so it isn't immediately obvious.

46 is generally about an 11.6 US, maybe a bit bigger than US 11 1/2. It can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Most shoe size conversion charts on the interwebs are shockingly wrong.

You guys are a lot more informed about sizing of this type of shoe, so I'd advise anyone interested to use your best judgment based on the advice above in previous posts. I would keep these if they weren't waaaay too big for me...

Model 101s never are truly comfortable until your little toe starts to peek through. Dang. Wish I still had mine.

Bumpin' it up. These are so cool and classy. Someone buy them before I convince myself that I need these (they are my size and I got some pedals they'd work with, on an Italian bike with almost full Italian future build...). Someone please!
