Sorry to burst your bubble, but they use more materials on an XL then a XS, so there will deviation between helmets depending on the size. Not to mention, in polymers, when testing densities, the "spec values" are much less presices then metals

Just got an Atmos last week. Big upgrade from my MTB helmet I'd been riding with. I was having some neck pain but that had gone away with the lighter helmet. Ventilation is way better too. Don't feel like I need to take off my helmet to cool my hot head as much and when I do it doesn't make as much of a difference.

I should update that I've been riding my wife's Ionos for a while now since I lost my Atmos and a teammate is borrowing my team-issue Rudy Project because he crashed his. It was initially uncomfortable compared to the Atmos but I've gotten used to it.
